Production relaunch after the Coronavirus work break in Ostrów and Krotoszyn.

20-th of April 2020

After a few weeks break in the production lines due to Coronavirus pandemic, the production of components for cars is gradually starting at the MAHLE plants in Ostrów and Krotoszyn. At the same time, far-reaching precautions have been introduced to protect employees from infection. At the entrance to the plant premises, body temperature is tested, employees must disinfect their hands and wear a face mask throughout their entire work-day. Work is organized in a way that ensures, where possible, that the safe distance between employees is maintained. Production is restored gradually and not on all lines - it will be adapted to the recommendations of state authorities related to the development of the epidemic and to the production needs of our customers.

Fat Thursday at MAHLE

20.02.2020

In Christian tradition, the last Thursday before Lent is Fat Thursday. It also starts the last week of the carnival. On this day in Poland, we do not have any limits in consumption of donuts. Thousands of donuts came to our branches in Wrocław, Krotoszyn and Ostrów Wielkopolski today, so that every employee could properly start celebrating the last week of the carnival and at the same time celebrate 100th anniversary of MAHLE. We serve traditional donuts covered with icing and filled with plum or rose filling. And it seems that it is no challenge for our employees to eat over 7,000 donuts in total. And in the scale of the whole country we eat about 100 million donuts on that day.

100 years of MAHLE

14.02.2020

2020 is a special year for MAHLE, because one hundred years ago our company was founded in Stuttgart.

It's 1920. The 'roaring' twenties begin. The beginning of an exciting decade in which Charles Lindberg flies across the Atlantic, Albert Einstein receives the Nobel Prize, Mahatma Ghandi begins his peaceful protest, Deutsche Luft Hansa AG is formed and Nürburgring opens. In Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt / Germany, two brothers lay the foundations for a global company: in those days Ernst and Hermann Mahle developed products that become bestsellers and which strengthen the reputation of today's global corporation as an innovator.

Since then, MAHLE has become one of the 20 largest automotive suppliers in the world, employing approximately 80,000 employees. Today we are a pioneer of the effective mobility of tomorrow. Our innovative solutions constantly set new standards in the field of alternative drives and optimization of internal combustion engines.

MAHLE today:

 About 160 production locations in over 30 countries on five continents

 16 main development centers with over 6100 engineers and development techniques in Germany, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Spain, the United States, Brazil, Japan, China, India and Poland.

Preparation for the Formula 2020 Student season.

10.02.2020

The MAHLE in Poland supports two teams of Formula Student from the Poznań and Wrocław University of Technology.

Teams are intensively preparing for the season. Recently, students have participated in tests / quizzes to allow them to qualify for competitions around the world. Keep fingers crossed.

This year is a breakthrough, especially for the PUT Motorsport team from Poznań. All forces were transferred to the work on the electric car. Design work has just finished and the full 3D model of the new car is ready. Thus, the existing combustion car has become a more exhibition object. Due to the fact that we still have some fuel in our blood, we hope that this will not happen so quickly with the rest of the automotive industry. Although, for example, at the MAHLE R&D Center in Ostrów Wielkopolski, we are already working on cooling for electric cars.

Ostrów Wielkopolski is a good place to live! - MAHLE guide.

27.01.2020

Ostrów Wielkopolski is one of the three MAHLE centers in Poland, next to Krotoszyn and Wrocław, which is intensively developing and increasing employment, especially in The Research and Development Center (R&D) and the Logistics Center. For many potential employees, however, this is a little-known city. That is why we have prepared a guide that will show this city a bit closer.

For many years, the city has undergone a real metamorphosis and is intensively developing under the slogan of increasing the quality of life of the inhabitants. In our opinion, Ostrów offers the best of both worlds, i.e. a large city, with its attractions, cultural and educational facilities, and a smaller town, where you can get everywhere in 10-15 minutes.

„Szlachetna Paczka” (Noble Package) from MAHLE employees - thank you!

13.12.2019

Last week we had a lot of paperwork in Polish MAHLE branches. However, this was no ordinary paperwork. This was wrapping paper, gluing tape and decorating packages for 3 families in need. We ended up with 50 boxes filled with presents and love.

We took part in the nationwide SZLACHETNA PACZKA campaign to help others. A group of MAHLE employees joined forces and gathered things that the employees brought, did shopping, also with the financial support of MAHLE, and then delivered gifts to 3 families in Wałbrzych and Ostrów Wielkopolski.

We can assure you that it is really nice to bring this kind of help and watch the good emotions it evokes.

MAHLE at the autumn job fair.

13.11.2019

The autumn fair season is behind us. In October and November you had the opportunity to meet us at several job fairs in Wroclaw and Poznan. We were at Jobicon, Wrocław University of Technology, University of Economics, Career Expo and AMU Development Academy. We thank the participants for visiting our stands and for many nice and fruitful conversations. Participants of the Career Expo fair awarded us a distinction in the Attractiveness of the offer category.

Those who are absent are invited to the next editions of the job fair in spring. This is a good opportunity to learn about employment opportunities in our three branches in Poland (in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Krotoszyn and Wrocław) and in other MAHLE branches around the world.

MAHLE supports Formula Student.

30.10.2019

MAHLE in Poland supports two student teams from the Wrocław and Poznan University of Technology, which build racing cars and compete on the European tracks with teams from around the world.

This is another season of our cooperation, which ends with great successes, both in the case of the Wrocław PWR Racing Team and the Poznań team PUT Motorsport.

This year both teams competed (also among themselves) in competitions in Italy and the Czech Republic. In Italy, the PUT Motorsport team from Poznań with the "Rusałka" car took second place and the best result in the team's history in the Skid Pad competition. It was even better in the Czech Republic and there the Poznań team took 1st place in the Acceleration category and was the fastest accelerating car in the competition. As if that wasn't enough, the Wrocław PWR Racing Team won the 2nd place in the general classification Formula Student Czech Republic.

The teams are now returning to work on the cars, including the construction of electric cars. We will support and closely monitor the progress of work. We keep our fingers crossed for the next starts in the competition.
