Mobile training from MAHLE boosts workshop skills

  • Targeted training on the replacement of air conditioning compressors coincides with start of the A/C service season
  • Participation protects workshops in the event of a warranty claim
  • General Manager MAHLE Aftermarket, Olaf Henning: “Thermal management is a growing business area for workshops”

“With our mobile training courses, we’re giving workshops the support they need to prepare for future business in the growing thermal management segment. After all, controlling the temperature of the battery and power electronics has an important role to play in electric vehicles in particular,” says Olaf Henning, Corporate Executive Vice President and General Manager MAHLE Aftermarket. “At the same time, participating workshops can secure the immediate benefit of our guaranteed warranty on air conditioning compressors for all vehicles.”

The Compressor Guarantee Plus program enables the hassle-free handling of any warranty claims that may arise after a compressor replacement and provides a guaranteed and fast-tracked credit note in the event of damage. To prevent problems occurring in the first place, the training covers causes of damage and how to avoid them, typical component damage, the correct way to use air conditioning service units and diagnostic tools, and how to perform a professional air conditioning compressor replacement including the necessary flushing of the air conditioning circuit.

The courses, which are organized in conjunction with leading training providers in the automotive industry, take place in compliance with strict hygiene measures. The advanced training is suitable for master technicians, qualified technicians, and trainees in the automotive, commercial vehicle, and agricultural and construction machinery sectors. Participants must have passed the examination held in accordance with Regulations (EC) No. 517/2014 and No. 307/2008.
